TELL ME NOW

Six minutes on air. Much longer learning to listen.

Written, conceived and prepared for publication by Mehmet Gökhan İnce

About the book

İris and Theo have six minutes of festival broadcasting to prepare. She wants her work behind the microphone to be noticed. He attracts attention when he performs, but cannot easily admit his fear of boring people. Sharing a studio does not mean they know how to hear each other; invisible work occupies space between them too.

An anonymous exchange through the letter corner gives difficult sentences somewhere to go. As the writing brings them closer, a mistake in the studio damages their trust. With the festival approaching, finishing the broadcast and saying what matters can no longer remain separate tasks.

Tell Me Now finds romance in small gestures and the hesitations of making something together. Keeping their own voices will also mean learning the difference between writing an honest sentence and standing behind it face to face.
